A Letter From Our Founder

The vision for The Havana Consulting Group was conceived in Cuba in the late 1990s, during my years working as a consultant on the island. I saw firsthand the challenge that foreign companies and institutions faced in obtaining reliable economic intelligence about the Cuban market.

After migrating to the United States in 2007, I had the privilege of meeting some of the most prominent economists specializing in the Cuban economy. These conversations strengthened my conviction that there was an urgent need for rigorous, independent analysis of Cuban economic affairs.
